1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
2. Remove the following parts:a. Sunroof seaming welt (See SUNROOF UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)b. A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)c. Sunvisor (See SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)d. Front map light (See MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)e. Assist handle (See ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)f. Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)g. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)h. B-pillar lower trim (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)i. Cover on the front seat belt adjuster (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)j. Upper anchor installation bolt on the seat belt (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)k. B-pillar upper trim (See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)l. Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)m. 3. Disconnect the front drain hose from the sunroof frame.
4. Pull the front drain hose in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), (2) and remove it while detaching hooks A.
5. Remove the front drain hose in the direction of the arrow (3) from hook B.
6. Pull the front drain hose in the direction of the arrow in the order of (4), (5) and remove it while detaching hooks C.
7. Remove the driver-side lower panel. (driver-side) (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
8. Remove the glove compartment. (passenger-side) (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
9. While visually verifying from the driver-side lower panel (driver-side) and glove component opening (passenger-side), partially peel back the dashboard lower insulator, then remove the front drain hose in the direction of the arrow (6) from grommet.
10. Remove the grommet in the direction of the arrow (7), (8) shown in the figure.
11. Pull the front drain hose out from the A-pillar side.
12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
