2014 - Mazda6 - Body and Accessories

REAR SPEAKER INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
2. Remove the following parts:
a. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
b. Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
c. Rear side seat back (See REAR SIDE SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
d. Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
e. C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
f. High-mount brake light (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
g. Rear package trim (See REAR PACKAGE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
h. Rear speaker (See REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Verify that the resistance between the front center speaker terminals is as indicated in the table.
