NOTE:
If the procedure is performed while holding the rear speaker cone, it could deform the cone causing a malfunction. Therefore, perform the procedure while holding any part other than the cone.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
2. Remove the following parts:a. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)b. Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)c. Rear side seat back (See REAR SIDE SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)d. Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)e. C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)f. High-mount brake light (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)g. Rear package trim (See REAR PACKAGE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Remove the screws.
4. Remove the rear speaker.
5. Disconnect the connector.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
