The automatic glare prevention rearview mirror prevents the driver from being dazzled by light from vehicles at the rear.
The automatic glare prevention rearview mirror detects the level of the surrounding light and glare from vehicles at the rear using the light sensor.
The automatic glare prevention rearview mirror combines the level of the surrounding light and the glare from vehicles at the rear and changes the reflection rate of the mirror between 10% and 70%.
The automatic glare prevention outer mirror combines the level of the surrounding light and the glare from vehicles at the rear and changes the reflection rate of the mirror between 10% and 50%.
The reflection rate of the automatic glare prevention rearview mirror is fixed at 70% or more when the selector lever (ATX)/shift lever (MTX) is shifted to the R position.
The reflection rate of the automatic glare prevention outer mirror is fixed at 50% or more when the selector lever (ATX)/shift lever (MTX) is shifted to the R position.
1. When the automatic glare prevention mirror switch is turned on, the mirror switches to automatic glare prevention mode.
2. While in automatic glare prevention mode, the light sensor detects the level of surrounding light and the glare from vehicles at the rear. (2)
3. The automatic glare prevention mirror changes the voltage applied to the mirror according to the level of the surrounding light and the glare from vehicles at the rear. (3)
4. The rearview mirror changes the reflection rate between 10% and 70% according to the voltage that is applied.
5. The left outer mirror changes the reflection rate between 10% and 50% according to the voltage that is applied.
6. When the selector lever (ATX)/shift lever (MTX) is shifted to the R position, the electric signal from the rear body control module (RBCM) is input to the automatic glare prevention rearview mirror, and the reflection rate of the rearview mirror is fixed (6) at 70% or more.
7. When the selector lever (ATX)/shift lever (MTX) is shifted to the R position, the electric signal from the rear body control module (RBCM) is input to the automatic glare prevention rearview mirror, and the reflection rate of the left outer mirror is fixed (7) at 50% or more.
