2014 - Mazda6 - Transmission/Transaxle

BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

2. Remove the air cleaner component (air cleaner, air hose). (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

1	Connector
2	Back-up light switch
3	Gasket

4. Install in the order indicated in the table.

1	Gasket
2	Back-up light switch
3	Connector

5. Install the air cleaner component (air cleaner, air hose). (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

6. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
