1. Verify that the DC-DC converter related DTC is detected. (See DTC INSPECTION [i-ELOOP].) (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
If a DTC is not detected, go to the next step.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
3. Disconnect the service plug. (See SERVICE PLUG DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [i-ELOOP].)
4. Remove the front seat component (LH). (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5. Remove the DC-DC converter cover. (See DC-DC CONVERTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [i-ELOOP].)
6. Do a visual inspection of the DC-DC converter.
If the DC-DC converter is damaged, replace it. (See DC-DC CONVERTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [i-ELOOP].)
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
