2014 - Mazda6 - I-ELOOP

PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION [i-ELOOP]

1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.
a. Select “DataLogger”.
b. Select “Modules”.
c. Select “DCDC”.
3. Select the applicable PID from the PID table.
4. Verify the PID data according to the directions on the screen.

  • Displays the charge circuit status.

    • Charge circuit stopped: Off

    • Charge circuit malfunction (charge circuit stopped): Fault (Off)

    • Charge circuit malfunction (charged by capacitor and battery): Fault (to Bat)

    • Charge circuit malfunction (charged by capacitor and GND): Fault (to GND)

  • Displays the output voltage in voltage reduction circuit.

  • Displays the voltage reduction circuit operation status.

    • Preparation for voltage reduction completed: Ready

    • Output stopped: Power Output(Stop)

    • During output: Power Output(Normal)

    • Target output value not achieved due to limit: Power Output(Limit)

    • Self-protection status (voltage reduction circuit inoperable): Safe Mode

    • Voltage reduction circuit malfunction: Error

  • Displays the power supply status from the IG1 relay.

  • Displays the IG ON relay operation status.

    • IG ON relay ON: Connect (On)

  • Displays the average value of the DC-DC converter output current from the previous time the ignition was switched ON.

  • Displays the average value of the DC-DC converter output current from the previous 2 times that the ignition was switched ON.

OUT_M_CUR3

Output Mean Current in IG On (3 times before)

  • Displays the average value of the DC-DC converter output current from the previous 3 times that the ignition was switched ON.

OUT_M_CUR4

Output Mean Current in IG On (4 times before)

  • Displays the average value of the DC-DC converter output current from the previous 4 times that the ignition was switched ON.

OUT_M_CUR5

Output Mean Current in IG On (5 times before)

  • Displays the average value of the DC-DC converter output current from the previous 5 times that the ignition was switched ON.

PURGE_RESLT

Charged/Purged/Fault

Result of charge purge on Capacitor after IG Off

  • Displays the purge result of the capacitor electrical charge after the ignition is switched off.

SAFE_M_COUNT

Count of Safe Mode shift

  • Displays the number of times the system switches to safe mode for the DC-DC converter.
