1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
2. Remove the trunk lid trim. (See TRUNK LID TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Remove the bolts.
5. Remove the trunk lid latch and release actuator from the trunk lid.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
