DTC U2300:55 [ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS)]



Description

Instrument cluster configuration not implemented

Detection condition

  • AFS control module received a signal which indicates the instrument cluster configuration is not performed.

Fail-safe function

  • The swivel actuator is moved to the center.

  • The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.

Possible cause

NOTE:

  • To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the AFS control module to the AFS control module, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on).

  • Instrument cluster configuration is not completed.

  • AFS control module malfunction

RESET CONFIGURATION DATA FROM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TO AFS CONTROL MODULE

Yes

Repeat the inspection from Step 1.

Go to the next step.

No

Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
  • Are any other DTCs displayed?

Yes

Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

(See DTC TABLE [ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS)].)

No

DTC troubleshooting completed.
