2014 - Mazda6 - Engine

CURRENT SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5]

CAUTION:

Current Sensor Removal

1. Disconnect the current sensor connector.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
3. Loosen the current sensor nut while fixing the negative battery terminal using a wrench.

4. Remove the current sensor.

Current Sensor Install

CAUTION:

1. Temporarily install the negative battery cable and the current sensor.
2. Tighten the current sensor nut to the specified torque while fixing the negative battery terminal using a wrench.

3. Connect the negative battery cable.
4. Connect the current sensor connector.
5. Perform services required after connecting the negative battery cable terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
