FUEL PUMP UNIT INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5]

Continuity Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

2. Disconnect the fuel pump unit connector.

3. Inspect for continuity between fuel pump unit terminals B—D.

• If there is no continuity, replace the fuel pump unit. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
